OTOWIND SCHOOL
We are a school approved by the Andalusian Sailing Federation (FAV) and accredited by the Tarifa Town Hall and the Junta de Andalucía. Our instructors are watermen, guys who have been in the water all their lives and enjoy these sports with a high technical level. As lovers of water sports we like to pass on our passion to our students. We are a great team of highly qualified instructors, certified by the Andalusian Sailing Federation.
Our teaching methodology focuses on constant communication with our students. We use a wireless communication system that allows us to give personalised instructions at all times. We adapt the classes to the individual needs of each student, thus optimising the learning process and accelerating their progress. Safety is our top priority. Our students learn from the very beginning how to act respectfully and safely in front of other users and the sea conditions.
In addition to learning to assess the situation and the environment in which we are going to carry out the activity so as not to run any risks. We also provide safety equipment such as helmets, protective waistcoats and wetsuits, which are essential during the initial learning phase. We also have rescue boats available to provide immediate assistance if necessary. So the first thing we teach you is how to handle yourself in the sea with respect and confidence, how to handle your equipment in and out of the water.
